GMX V2

Trade crypto perpetual futures with up to 100x leverage directly on-chain -- no signups, no middlemen, just your wallet and the market.

Prerequisites

  • OKX OnChain OS installed and OKX Agentic Wallet connected to Arbitrum or Avalanche.
  • Have ETH on Arbitrum or AVAX on Avalanche to pay for gas fees.
  • Have trading capital ready — USDC, ETH, or other supported tokens in your wallet on the correct chain.

When to Use This Skill

  • You want to bet on whether Bitcoin or Ethereum will go up or down, without opening a centralized exchange account.
  • You want to amplify your trades with leverage so small price moves mean bigger results.
  • You have crypto sitting idle and want to earn fees by putting it into a liquidity pool.
  • You prefer knowing your funds stay in your own wallet rather than on someone else's platform.

How It Works

You connect your wallet to GMX V2 and choose a market -- say BTC/USD. You decide whether you think the price will go up (long) or down (short), pick your leverage amount, and confirm the transaction.

Your order is submitted on-chain. Once filled, your position is live. You can monitor your profit or loss in real time and close the position whenever you want. If the market moves against you too far, the protocol will automatically liquidate your position to protect the liquidity pool.

If you'd rather earn passively, you buy GM tokens for a specific market. Your funds go into the liquidity pool that traders borrow from, and you collect a share of every trading fee and borrowing fee generated. You can withdraw your liquidity at any time by selling your GM tokens back.

All of this runs on Arbitrum or Avalanche, so transactions confirm in seconds and cost a fraction of what they would on Ethereum mainnet.
